ABOUT SKILLMATCH HUB
SkillMatch Hub is a skills-based selection platform. In this phase we are building a pool of Junior, Intermediate and Senior professionals to serve both the internal needs of SkillMatch Hub and the ILS ecosystem and future selection processes on behalf of Italian client companies. We collect and assess applications on the basis of real skills and evidence. The possible presentation of profiles to specific external employers is not yet under way and will take place, for consistent opportunities, through SkillMatch Hub. Being included in the pool does not automatically guarantee a specific opportunity. The selection is open to applicants of all genders.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Join SkillMatchub as a Machine Learning Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of technology solutions. In this dynamic position, you will be at the heart of designing and implementing robust machine learning and deep learning models that drive innovation and efficiency across our operations. Collaborate closely with a diverse team of software engineers, product experts, and domain specialists to ensure seamless integration of machine learning models into APIs, microservices, and applications. Your expertise will be critical in managing pipeline processes, from handling failures and retries to ensuring accurate versioning and monitoring. By leveraging your skills in Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch, alongside cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, you will optimize and supervise the performance, data quality, and reliability of our services.

As a Machine Learning Engineer with SkillMatchub, you will transform cutting-edge prototypes into testable and deployable software components, overseeing their journey from concept to implementation. Your role will involve mapping intricate processes and stakeholders, alongside designing and maintaining training and serving pipelines for advanced models. Embrace the challenge of optimizing performance and monitoring for efficiency and accuracy, while collaborating with teams across data science, software, data engineering, and DevOps. The ideal candidate will have a solid educational background in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or data science, and possess a versatile experience range of 1 to 20 years in the information technology sector. A thorough understanding of MLOps and DevOps practices will be essential, as will proficiency in CI/CD, testing, versioning, deployment, monitoring, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
