ABOUT SKILLMATCH HUB
SkillMatch Hub is a skills-based selection platform. In this phase we are building a pool of Junior, Intermediate and Senior professionals to serve both the internal needs of SkillMatch Hub and the ILS ecosystem and future selection processes on behalf of Italian client companies. We collect and assess applications on the basis of real skills and evidence. The possible presentation of profiles to specific external employers is not yet under way and will take place, for consistent opportunities, through SkillMatch Hub. Being included in the pool does not automatically guarantee a specific opportunity. The selection is open to applicants of all genders.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Data Scientist at SkillMatchub, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. Collaborating closely with product managers, software engineers, and data teams, you will gather detailed requirements and establish key performance metrics that align with business objectives. Your expertise will ensure the reliability, accuracy, and scalability of our data-driven solutions through rigorous testing, monitoring, error handling, and documentation practices. By validating deliverables with end-users, you ensure that our solutions meet real-world needs and expectations.

In this dynamic role, you will leverage your strong foundation in Python, machine learning, and deep learning to explore intricate datasets, formulate hypotheses, and devise robust analytical methodologies. You will develop, validate, and compare sophisticated machine learning models, focusing on feature engineering, interpretability, and comprehensive documentation. Your proficiency with tools such as PyTorch and your understanding of MLOps and DevOps practices will facilitate the deployment of reproducible solutions that meet the highest industry standards. With your skills in data mining, predictive analysis, and SQL, you will present compelling results and data-driven recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders, fostering informed decision-making across the organization.
