ABOUT SKILLMATCH HUB

SkillMatch Hub is a skills-based selection platform. In this phase we are building a pool of Junior, Intermediate and Senior professionals to serve both the internal needs of SkillMatch Hub and the ILS ecosystem and future selection processes on behalf of Italian client companies. We collect and assess applications on the basis of real skills and evidence. The possible presentation of profiles to specific external employers is not yet under way and will take place, for consistent opportunities, through SkillMatch Hub. Being included in the pool does not automatically guarantee a specific opportunity. The selection is open to applicants of all genders.

ABOUT THE ROLE

At SkillMatchub, the Cybersecurity / IAM Engineer plays a pivotal role in safeguarding our technological infrastructure and ensuring robust identity and access management across our platforms. As a key player in our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for monitoring compliance with security policies, testing software to identify vulnerabilities, and implementing cutting-edge authentication and authorization systems. Your expertise will guide you in managing risks, automating security tasks, and ensuring that compliance standards are consistently met. With a focus on user, group, and role provisioning, you will foster collaboration by integrating services and developing backend APIs to enhance our security framework.

Your role involves leading initiatives that ensure the quality and security of our systems, designing comprehensive identity and access management solutions, and defining roles, permissions, and least privilege policies. You will handle authentication, authorization, and secrets management with a detail-oriented approach, conduct threat modeling to anticipate potential security threats, and verify the security of our APIs and applications. Additionally, you will be instrumental in managing vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts, defining security logging and audit processes, and collaborating closely in incident response to strengthen our overall security posture.

We seek candidates with a strong foundation in API security, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and authentication and authorization techniques. Your technical acumen in risk and issue management, quality and compliance, and monitoring and logging will be vital. Proficiency in operational identity and access management, TCP/IP networking, firewall management, basic Docker, IAM and RBAC concepts, as well as knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT, will set you apart. Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability management, and cloud security principles is crucial, paired with a solid educational background in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
