ABOUT SKILLMATCH HUB
SkillMatch Hub is a skills-based selection platform. In this phase we are building a pool of Junior, Intermediate and Senior professionals to serve both the internal needs of SkillMatch Hub and the ILS ecosystem and future selection processes on behalf of Italian client companies. We collect and assess applications on the basis of real skills and evidence. The possible presentation of profiles to specific external employers is not yet under way and will take place, for consistent opportunities, through SkillMatch Hub. Being included in the pool does not automatically guarantee a specific opportunity. The selection is open to applicants of all genders.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As an AI Engineer / AI Developer at SkillMatchub, you will be at the forefront of designing and developing cutting-edge applications powered by large language models. Your role will involve crafting sophisticated solutions that integrate AI models and services through APIs and microservices. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including product, software engineering, and data experts, to gather and clarify requirements, ensuring that the solutions you develop are aligned with the broader business goals and technical metrics. Your expertise in Python, NLP, and frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow will be crucial as you implement features using machine learning, deep learning, and generative components.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining evaluation criteria, monitoring, and establishing quality control guardrails to ensure the reliability and accuracy of AI-driven responses. You will take charge of logging, error handling, and observability to maintain system integrity and performance. Your efforts will also extend to designing and executing testing and monitoring regimes, enhancing the robustness of AI applications. With a foundational education in computer science, engineering, or related quantitative fields, and a flexible experience range of 1 to 20 years, you will have ample opportunity to leverage your skills in cloud technologies, whether AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as your proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
